If you don’t love what you’re doing, then figure a way to do what you love.

There’s absolutely no need for you to stick with an exercise program that isn’t thrilling you because there are so many options available to you when it comes to exercising. For me, there is no greater joy than feeling my muscles strain under the weight of, well, weights. It’s an indescribable feeling that I’ve been enamored with since I was a 17-year-old kid living in Montreal.

I can appreciate, however, that weightlifting isn’t necessarily for everyone. In fact, although it’s hard for me to even fathom, I know that there are some people who aren’t fond of lifting at all! To these people I say, “Then go figure out what you do enjoy, and do it!”

Whether it’s running or cycling, swimming, climbing, skiing, there are a wealth of good exercise options available to you. Far too many times I have seen people use their dislike of a particular form of exercise as an excuse not to exercise at all. Well, I’m here to say that with all the options out there, none of us have an excuse not to engage in some form of exercise at least some of the time. That includes you.
